So I decided I wasn’t busy enough and needed a part time job! Two kids, a business, and now a part time job with Please Mum am I crazy …. maybe. But here’s the thing, the position is exactly what I would want in 10 months from now when Gracie is a year old but it won’t be around then. Someone else will scoop it up and I’ll be kicking myself that I let it go.
Here’s the scoop – 20 hours a week, from home – a little office time here and there. Creating value added content for the Please Mum website and doing their social media stuff too! Creating more buzz & more interaction with their customers. Best company ever to work for!
Gracie comes to work with me and hangs out, everyone loves her and were a team! I don’t want to miss a second with her and would never put her in daycare to work at this age… but if she’s coming to work with me and they want to pay me to enjoy my job then fantastic!

Oct 8-11th is the Vancouver One of A Kind Show. I went to the Toronto One of A Kind in March this year and it was fantastic! Amazing stuff to see and buy… I spent a pretty penny there let me tell you. Good thing I had to work my booth most of the time otherwise I would have shocked my credit card even more.
Anyways, I decided to sign up for the Vancouver show this year and I’m very excited about it. If you have a chance to come visit the show you should, drop by my booth and say hello, Grace and I will be happy to see you.

Okay so I admit the blog has been put on the back burner…. I got this brand new site, I had big plans to update the blog every week and look what has happened alreay. I am going to blame it on being pregnant and then the arrival of my new daughter Grace on July 15th. She came 9 days early, 7lbs 14oz! We are all doing well & she is growing fast already.

And I am excited I have a new model for the site.. hee hee
So here I am back at work, trying to manage it all with a 1 month old so we’ll see how I do. If I haven’t written in the next two weeks someone please remind me.
While I have your attention I am going to mention that the new rain poncho is ready to order! Available in brown/pink for now… possibly brown/black in the near future if I get enough requests for boys ones! (let me know if you want them). $65 online or at baby stores near you!

Kids say and do the cutest things! Friday May 22nd Breakfast TV had Po Po’s ponchos, Milk Factory, West Coast Baby & Red Fish Kids on to do a kids spring fashion show. The kids did an amazing job despite the sitting around waiting for their turn to shine. It’s tough being in show business and thank goodness I’m not one of those moms who goes to talent scouting & auditions, I could never do it. Lots of sitting around, primping & looking great for a long period & then smiling on demand…. yikes. The kids loved it though, they were rilling each other up and running around the little 10 x 10 green room for all 16 of us.
Then it was time for their 6 mins of fame, the kids went out two at a time holding hands it was too cute. They stood there looking so adorable while Dawn Chubai talked about the spring fashion. (Side note) Dawn Chubai is not only the host of BT but she is a very good jazz singer, check out here site!

Just a quick note to say thanks everyone for being understaning with the upload of my new website! A few minor shopping cart errors that have been fixed and we are on our way now to a fresh start.
